This section of the Neverending Necklace was made to celebrate childhood.

Who has not fond memories of a simple dish such as macaroni & cheese, and who has not fixed this meal themselves at a young age as their first ever? There is a certain comfort in pasta - it seems to always have an association with home cooked food. Mac & Mac: macaroni & cheese without the cheese.

Even your early jewelry projects may have included unprepared pasta: first graders or preschoolers usually bring home a necklace made from noodles and colorful beads. The innocence, the simple cheerfulness of a child brightens everyone's heart. That's why this section was made, using elbow macaroni and colorful beads in random order.
