Citrus Punch

Made from little lemons, oranges and limes, it wouldn't be a true Floridian if the Neverending Necklace would not pay tribute to the local Citrus Industry. This delicious and healthy fruit used to have quite an impact on Florida's economy, but the citrus groves are diminishing as a sign of suburban development as well as diseases affecting the trees and crop.

Years ago you could go outside in the winter months and smell the fragrant citrus blossoms wafting particularly at nighttime throughout the area. You would never forget that beautiful, flowery and invigorating aroma!

We have to accept changes in our neighborhoods because various interest groups may have different needs. However, we must stay vigilant and be mindful of our natural environment.
