Strings with Pearls attached

How often do we gain an advantage or receive a favor only to find out that it had "strings attached", meaning it was conditional to begin with.

If you are not willing to give something to another person without a return, then you must state so clearly and explicitly. Make sure that your "trading partner" is aware of your expectation. This rule applies to private life as well as to business transactions.

The one thing that must stay void of all conditions, is loving someone. Love should always be pure and genuine and without any hidden agenda.
