The world famous "Siren" by sculptor Norm Gitzen |
Without a doubt the loveliest of all settings, this festival of healthy eating and fun was smiled upon by the weather gods. If you don't know about Floridian summers, you can't imagine how nervous one can be with an outdoor setting in the midst of the so-called "sunny season". But it went great, and thanks to you who dedicated beads, the Love & Peace Project could raise $31 for the Farmworker Council to help meet their goal for the new school year. Remember this day next year when the SALAD DAYS returns to Wellington with much delectable food sampling, great entertainment and a perfect setting for everybody to enjoy. The International Polo Club is a wonderful place to enjoy Sunday afternoon during Polo Season - from beginning of January through the end of April.
