More than entertainment: pulsing drum beat and passionate dance

Whenever we go to an evening show, the first concern is always the weather, as it can get a wee bit chilly during the winter even here in South Florida. But the weather gods were smiling on us, and the evening was balmy and absolutely perfect for the Drumming Circle to take place.

For those who have never been: it is a marvelous experience! People of all different facets of life come out to be unified in rhythm, and it feels as if we could hear the heartbeat of the earth itself.

Perhaps about 30 drummers and 15 dancers performed their heart out, so we are very eager to return for more.

The Cruzan Rum Bar is really the perfect setting for this gathering: several fire places, BIG screen outdoor TVs for the hardcore sports fans, food, drinks, all right on a sandy beach next to the Intracoastal Waterway.

You can even dock your boat directly there and hop out for a relaxing shore leave.

Panama Hattie's has done a magnificent project with this slice of night time paradise, and a warm thank you goes to the management for providing a space to show our wares!
