The booth set up got many people to stop and dedicate beads

Even in that day's sweltering heat the Love & Peace Project was quite a crowd magnet. The Project grew by 11 feet with 77 beads!

What a busy day a the bed races. Even at 8.00 am it was already hot and humid, just a real Florida summer day. But a soon as the booth was set up, people came to dedicate beads and the stream never really stopped.

Thanks to our volunteers Donna Derocher and Michele Upton, the event ran smoothly and there was no wait for people.

While the necklace kept getting longer, the bed races were taking place providing much entertainment for the crowd. A real family festival where you could try some different foods, grab a cold soda and enjoy the races, the parade and the market place.

Pineapple Grove in Delray Beach has come a long way and has evolved into a charming neighborhood where you sure will enjoy spending time.
