The sky was
smiling upon the street fair
Considering it was
the day before Super Bowl, the crowd did not mind visiting this event
at a local community.
And they had all
reasons to be there. Not only could they be tempted by grilled food
from the cafe, they also were treated with music from a very lively DJ
who endlessly engaged the crowd in some impromptu dancing.
Goodies and services
were offered by busy vendors, and it made for a delightful experience
for all who attended.
As for the
Neverending Necklace, it turned out that there were some prolific
dedicators: thanks to this crowd, we could add 669 bead to the world's
As of this writing,
they're not completely strung yet, so the length will be update
shortly. But a careful estimate puts this amount of beads at about 60
feet, and that's absolutely amazing. Good job, River Walk!
