A German Artist from Thuringia, Wolfgang Eccarius remains one of the last to practice his generations old trade for a living.

Because of the rarity of traditional bead making artisans, his shop is a tourist attraction and offers a welcome glimpse into a world of beauty born in fire.

Mr. Eccarius was "discovered" by dear friend Marita Baron on one of her sightseeing tours. Since she had been extremely supportive of the Neverending Necklace, she was magically drawn in to see Mr. Eccarius' work and watch him create his magnificent beads.

Marita started telling him about the Neverending Necklace, and the artist sent the beads (below) with her to be included on the Neverending Necklace.

Because of these gestures of thoughtfulness, the necklace is truly unique - people from far away can connect and relate with the message of love and peace.
